What is a Hydrochanger? Hydrochanger offers inline water conditioners.  It is not a water softener .  It can improve the condition of water for your entire property. The Hydrochanger, LLC System is the natural, non-chemical solution for your hard water problems. 

What products are available from Hydrochanger, LLC?

Hydrochanger, LLC offers five different product lines.

Hydrochanger H2O (Powdered Coated Copper) 1/2 inch to 2 inch are Residential and small Commercial units.

Hydrochanger H2O (Stainless Steel Flanged w/ Turbulator) 2 inch to 12 inch are Commercial, Agricultural, and Industrial units.

Hydrochanger Plus 1/2 inch to 2 inch (PVC schedule 40 and 80) are Residential, Commercial, and small Agricultural units)

Hydrochanger Plus Recirulating System Conditioners are (1/2 inch to 2 inch) PVC housed special configuration units.

Hydrochanger Plus Water Conditioning and Filtration Tank Systems are Residential and Small Commercial Conditioning and Filtration Tank Systems with 12 x 54 inch silver jacketed fiberglass tanks and automated back flushing valves for homes, offices and other buildings.

 How does the new Hydrochanger water conditioner work?  It works through basic principles of fluid mechanics and our unique media design that adds electrons into the water stream. The Hydrochanger Systems impact the cohesiveness of scale-causing mineral particles in the water. After water passes over the media in the Hydrochanger, the propensity of minerals contained in the water to adhere to surfaces and develop scale and corrosion is either eliminated or significantly reduced. 

 What will the Hydrochanger System do for me? The Hydrochanger water conditioner works to dissolve existing scale, and eliminate or significantly reduce the formation of new scale, reduce hard water spotting, and reduce soap and detergent usage. Evaporative Coolers, Mister Systems, Foggers, and virtually any other device or system that utilizes and comes into contact with water, are applications that can benefit from longer equipment life, and less maintenance.

• It will clean and rinse your laundry clothes better.
 

• It will provide better water for your turf and vegetation by breaking down hardpan soil and increasing percolation into the soil.  Harmful salts can be leached deeper into the soil and plants are able to thrive and grow in soil with higher salt concentrations.
 

• Depending on your initial water condition, reductions in water usage of 20 – 50% on your turf and vegetation have been achieved due to improved percolation and reduced runoff and standing water. Ask about California State University Fresno's Center for Irrigation Technology test results and all of the extraordinary results being reported by Avocado Growers in the Southern California area.

How long does the conditioned water stay conditioned? For most applications the water’s changes can be considered virtually permanent.    

How long will the Hydrochanger Conditioner last? You can expect many many years of service. There are no moving parts to wear out. Each system comes with a limited 10-year non-prorated limited warranty.  The Hydrochanger water conditioner is a non-sacrificial and non-corrosive unit.

Where do I install the system? To impact your entire property, the Hydrochanger water conditioners can go inline with a by-pass right after the water meter. In homes it can also be installed before the hot water heater. HydrochangerH2O copper household units come with pre-soldered, installation ready 1” or 2”  NPT male threaded fittings. The two most common sized Hydrochanger Plus units come with PVC bushings and fittings allowing them to be used as either 3/4 inch or 1 inch units or as 1 1/2" or 2" units.
